Since early on in my professional journey, I’ve always been intrigued with the “way of work.” Taking notice of the way we behave in the workplace, the values and perspectives we bring, the beliefs we espouse and how all those things culminate in one dynamic experience is beyond fascinating to me. However, my keen eye for observing and picking up on behaviors, mindsets, and practices that cause issues in the workplace is what led me to study Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I realized that if I wanted to make a difference in the way people experience work, I would need a solid knowledge base to support my natural propensity to hone in on problems.
What drives me in this work is a simple, yet complex reality— people spend a significant portion of their lives at work. Therefore, work should be a place where they are physically and psychologically safe, where they can be their best self, and where they can thrive and do their best work. For too many people this is not the case. Using a human-centered approach that focuses on the intricacies of shaping healthy workplace cultures, I’m here to make a positive impact.
